Anthony Christy
Director/Owner
Anthony Christy grew up in his father’s workshop, building alongside his brothers and developing a deep respect for craft from an early age. With a background in engineering and a lifelong passion for making, Anthony brings a rare combination of technical precision, creative thinking, and hands-on expertise to the IPS team. His ability to solve complex design challenges and bring ideas to life with precision makes him a vital part of the team, particularly on high-level custom and architectural projects. Outside of work, Anthony loves spending time outdoors — hunting, fishing, and exploring with his family.
Dominik Baumann
Design Technician / Cabinet Maker
Dominik is our lead cabinet engineer when it comes to drawings and technical documentation. He brings a strong eye for detail and design, helping to bridge the gap between concept and construction. With experience across design, production, project management, and installation, he plays a key role in ensuring ideas are translated clearly and accurately through every stage of a project. Methodical and precise in his work, Dominik also brings a creative edge to the team, offering thoughtful, design-led solutions that enhance both form and function. Outside of work, he loves getting into the outdoors — surfing, mountain biking, and always exploring with his camera close by.
Jason Stevens
Director/Owner
Jason Stevens is known for his reputation of excellence in joinery and his commitment to delivering exactly what each client envisions. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Jason has led high-end residential and commercial projects across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. His depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and drive for quality make him a trusted leader in the field. Jason thrives on a challenge and is always looking for innovative, ambitious projects that push the boundaries of craftsmanship and design. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending quality time with his three sons — especially out hunting and exploring the outdoors together.
Christian Gouws
Factory Manager / Cabinet Maker
After building a successful career in South Africa, Christian moved to New Zealand with his family to begin a new chapter — and he’s quickly become an integral part of the IPS team. With nearly fifteen years of industry experience, he brings a high level of skill, professionalism, and leadership to every project. Christian works closely with both clients and the wider team to ensure each job is delivered with efficiency, precision, and excellence. His commitment, knowledge, and drive have made him a key figure in the business. Outside of work, Christian enjoys quality time with his family — fishing, kayaking, and exploring New Zealand’s great outdoors.
William Kelly
Client Manager / Cabinet Maker
Will has over eight years of industry experience and is an integral part of the IPS team. Having trained under Jason, he has developed into a highly skilled cabinet maker and installer. Will brings a big smile and a hardworking attitude to the factory every day, and we feel very lucky to have him on the team. He’s also great with clients — friendly, approachable, and always happy to talk through the finer details to make sure everything’s just right. Outside of the workshop, Will enjoys getting out into nature — hiking, tramping, and spending time with his animals and partner.
Simon Green
Cabinet Maker
With over 20 years of experience in New Zealand’s cabinetry industry, Simon is a highly skilled cabinet maker known for his precision, craftsmanship, and deep understanding of both high-end residential and commercial projects. His career spans the full spectrum of cabinetmaking — from manufacturing and hand-finishing to onsite installation. Simon brings a warm smile to every project, and we love having him as a part of the team. When he’s not in the workshop or out on-site, you’ll find Simon working on his cars, getting outdoors, or spending time with friends and family.
Jordan Mills
Cabinet Maker - Apprentice
Jordan is one of our newest apprentice cabinet makers and has quickly made a strong impression. He brings great intuition, a clear passion for the craft, and a consistently positive energy to the workshop. Hardworking and eager to learn, Jordan has jumped into his training with enthusiasm and a willingness to take on any challenge. We’re excited to support him as he grows his skills and begins his journey toward becoming a qualified cabinet maker. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys winding down with video games — a way he relaxes, recharges, and keeps his problem-solving skills sharp.
Roko Groom
Cabinet Maker - Apprentice
Roko is one of our newest apprentices, currently training to become a qualified cabinet maker. Under the guidance of our most experienced cabinet makers, he’s already shown himself to be driven, hardworking, and eager to learn. Over the next few years, Roko will follow the same pathway as Will and work towards becoming fully certified. We’re really excited to have him on the team and watch him grow in the trade. When he’s not in the factory, Roko loves surfing and getting out to explore New Zealand with friends.

Jason and the IPS Team carried out an office fit-out for us in early 2022. We engaged them reasonably early on in the process, so they helped with some of the design, where they had some great ideas with regard to materials and general ideas.
